Week 13 Curation

My three favorite web discoveries for this week:

Canva - It got into my bookmarks because I used this to make a banner for my grandma's birthday party. 


Growth Mindset Memes - I included this into my bookmarks today because I looked into some of memes today. I will look at more later.

Brothers Grimm Book - I was searching about the section I was going to read for next week, and I found the whole book online. I might read it all if I like the stories that are posted in the sections.

Week 3 Curation

My three favorite web discoveries for this week:

Project Gutenberg - It got into my bookmarks because I like the free stories that i can read there.

Mythology Pictures - I searched about Mythology pictures and this came up. If I choose the Greek Mythology section, then I will for sure use this for the images.

While looking through Growth Mindset on Twitter, I came across this picture. It was talking about the brain and Growth Mindset. I thought it was interesting. 

Week 2 Curation

My three favorite web discoveries for this week:

WatchESPN - It got into my bookmarks because football season started. I can watch games on my computer.

Petrel 2015 - It is on my bookmarks because I am using this software for my geophysics class. It is a software that shows models of different places on Earth. 

Truecar - this is a great website. If you are buying a car, this website gives you the cheapest price available in your area with a coupon that you can take to the dealership and they will sell the car in that price. 

Hence, I've found the bookmarks to be the most useful for this week. 

Week 1 Curation

I keep track of all the online resources I need for school in my bookmark folders. I name them separately and there are folders inside my bookmark folders. The truly important resources are in my bookmark tab. With bookmarks, I think I am doing a good job with keeping track of information that I need.

I am familiar with Pinterest and Twitter, but not with Known. I don't have an account for any of them. I always associated Pinterest with pictures of things people wanted and Twitter being another social media site, hence, I didn't feel the need to have an account for any of them. I want to learn more about Known as I thought it was really interesting. I will also try Twitter and see how it is using the class Twitter login information.
